Our staff work through retrieving the list of items on hold throughout the day. The list refreshes and updates in real time as customers place holds.  


The timeframe is affected by where the item is currently and where it is being picked up by the customer.


If the hold is placed for pick up:

  • At the same location where it is available, it is typically filled within 1-2 days. 
  • At another branch and needs to be transferred between locations, it is typically filled within 3-4 days. 


Hold Pick-Up Notifications are sent out by email or phone shortly after the item is prepared for pick-up. For the most up-to-date information about your account, please log in to your My BPL account.
