The Online Library Card Registration form uses an automated process to verify the details provided.

Some of the possible reasons your library card application was not successful:

• A library account already exists matching the details provided in the application.
• Address information was spelled incorrectly or isn’t a verified Burlington address.
• The IP address used to register is outside of Canada.

For customers who don’t live in Burlington, but are eligible for full library membership because you work, go to school, or own property in Burlington, please bring proof of employment, enrollment, or property tax payment to any Burlington Public Library branch to register for a library card.
