Cancellations or changes must be made through the Library’s Manage Your Rooms Reservation site. Changes to a rental date, time, or location can only be made by cancelling the original rental and submitting a new rental request.

On the Manage Your Room Reservations site, you can cancel the reservation using your BPL card number and 4-digit PIN (Library Card tab), or using the renter's last name and reservation reference number (Reference tab) that is included in all room rental email communications.

If you do not have your library card or reservation reference number, you can call 905.639.3611 and ask our staff for help. They will ask you to verify your personal information for security purposes.


A $15.75 fee is applied to all cancellations. Refunds, net of the fee, will be applied in 3-5 business days to the credit card used at the time of requesting a rental. An email to confirm the cancellation will be sent from donotreply@bpl.on.ca. 


No refund will be issued if the cancellation is:

  • Less than 168 hours (7 days) notice for changes or cancellations to Centennial Hall bookings.
  • Less than 96 hours (4 days) notice for changes or cancellations to all other room rentals.
