The Library offers free bookable private workspaces at Central, New Appleby, and Tansley Woods branches. Learn how to book a space for small group meetings, quiet work, or study. Each space has limited seating, ranging from single-person pods to rooms for up to eight people.
Aside from our bookable workspaces, there are limited 'designated' quiet zones at BPL branches. You may find designated quiet zones, such as on the 2nd floor at Central by the Local History Room, and other spaces that have fewer visitors on the day you come. These spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Please ask our staff for help finding a suitable quiet space.
