Items on your holds shelf will generally display the number in the holds queue and the wait time; however sometimes the wait time is not available. If you place a hold for a copy of a book that belongs to a partner library (Hamilton Public Library or Mississauga Library System), their users are given priority for holds on those copies. For this reason, users may jump forward or move backward on the wait list, so the wait time cannot be accurately estimated. Hence, you will not see an approximate wait times on holds placed on these copies.
